Which Section should I play in?

Format:
|
4 round swiss, game in 30 mins. for U250-U1200
3 round swiss, game in 50 mins. for U1350 & Championship.
|

Entry Fee:
|
$14 if postmarked by Jan. 10th -- $25 otherwise
FREE to players rated 1500+ on Dec. supplement
|
|
Registration:
|
7:45-8:30am - Advanced Registration Encouraged
if not registerd by 8:30 may have to take 1st round bye.
|
|
Awards:
|
Trophies to:
o Top 5 players in each of U400-U1200 sections
o Top 4 players in the U250 section
o Top 2 Unrated (1st USCF tournament) in U250 section
o Top Unrated (1st USCF tournament) in U400 section
o Top 3 players in U1350 & Champ. sections
o Top 2 teams in each of U250-U1200 sections
Free entry to 2007 NC Scholastic Championship to:
o Top 3 players in Championship section.
o Top player in U1350 section
Team scores are from top 2 players from same school in a section.
Unrated (1st USCF tournament) in U250-U400 are only eligible for Unrated trophies
A participation ribbon will be awarded to those who do not win a trophy.

Round Times:
|
U1350 & Championship: 8:45, 10:35, & 12:45
U250-U1200: 9:00, 10:15, 11:30, & 1:00
|
|
Byes:
|
One 1/2 point bye allowed for either round 1 or 2 in the
U250-U1200 sections. All other byes are 0 point.
|
|
Requisites:
|
Open to all K-12.
USCF membership is required.

Bring proof of USCF membership if recently joined/renewed.
Note to parents:
Players must be supervised, No drop-offs!
