get trophy) For those who have no more room left in their trophy case there will be chess books or chess equipment that may be selected instead of a trophy. Team Trophies will be awarded to all teams scoring better than 50% Teams are players from same school, same grade range (K-5, 6-8, or 9-12) Best 3 scores from team count. New: Home School Teams from same zip code are considered same school as well as Cultural Schools that meet at least once a week and teach chess (e.g. Raleigh Russian School or Cary Chinese School) For K-3 Section the contributing Score will be pro-rata if there are more than 3 games played. How this will be done will be determined on the day of the tournament. |

Take beltline I-440 to Western Blvd exit 2B - go west about .8 miles then right on Powell - then a few hundred feet the location will be on left and the building is behind the main church. The are many alternate routes when coming in from Durham & Cary so check for directions that might be best for where you are coming from. |
